Who am I?
My name is Wouter, I’m 26 right now and in the best shape of my life. But back in 2019 this was different.
I didn’t know much about nutrition back then, except for one thing: “You need to eat big, to get big” and I wanted to get strong, fast.
So I followed this advice, and sure enough, I got stronger. But I didn’t like the way I looked anymore. I had packed on some fat and lost most of the definition in my muscles.
My clothes had gotten uncomfortably tight, up to the point I couldn’t wear a lot of my old clothes anymore.
That’s when I decided to hire a coach to lose weight.
In 3 months of coaching, which involved a terribly bland diet mostly consisting of boiled chicken and vegetables and nearly daily cardio, I lost a considerable 15 kg’s.
I had achieved what I wanted, six-pack abs, but I didn’t feel good.
The diet, though low in calories, had left me deprived of nutrients, and I just couldn’t stand sticking to such a bland diet for the rest of my life just to keep my shape.
That’s when I dove deep into the topic of nutrition, to find out what I could eat to optimize my health, enjoy my meals, and stay lean in the process.
After years of experimentation and research, I now have no issue whatsoever to keep my abs showing 365 days a year, while eating foods that I love and support my health, and doing minimal cardio.
