Description
It is not easy to get the RDA of 400 mg Magnesium per day through diet alone. As mentioned in this article by the National Institute of Health, the most recent data suggested that at least 48% of people did not ingest enough Magnesium through food alone (based on my personal estimations, it is much higher).
Moreover, Magnesium is easily depleted through sweat, and as a result of stress.
This is a concern, as Magnesium is absolutely vital for your health. It plays a role in over 600 processes in the body. It is required for ATP, the energy molecule, to do its work, for nerves to fire, and for cells to be hydrated properly.
Magnesium can be supplemented to support your general health, but also to support stress, sleep better, increase your energy, and speed up recovery. I discuss Magnesium in more detail in this article, including scientific studies.
