Resources
I get frequently asked which brands I recommend for supplements or other products. On this page I will collect a list of brands I think are reputable and have a high standard for quality. The page will also list informational resources and online tools I think can be useful on your journey to level up.
For specific products I endorse, not just company links, check out the Products page, and for specific guides on supplementation and other topics check out the Guides page

Supplements
The supplement industry is poorly regulated, and therefore filled with low quality or even toxic products. Other products are dosed at ridiculously high or low dosages, or contain a number of unnecessary additives that have an unknown effect on your health.
If you’re going to spend money on supplements, it should at least be good ones that actually have the desired effect. This is a curated list of supplement manufacturers I endorse. Not every one of these companies is perfect, but I do believe these ones are the best out there. If you feel there is a company missing, or a company on this list does not deserve to be on there, please contact me.
I divided the companies per region. Although some of them might ship worldwide, supplement regulations can differ tremendously between countries, so some of the supplements might be illegal for you to order. Besides, delivery fees and import taxes can add a hefty sum to your investment.

Blood, Fertility & DNA Tests
To measure is to know. Many people use supplements and certain health practices to fix an issue they think they have. But without data, you are shooting in the dark, potentially doing more harm than good.
Blood tests can confirm whether you really have a thyroid problem, low vitamin/mineral status, hormonal deficiencies, cholesterol issues, organ problems, or chronic inflammation. This crucial information gives you the opportunity to design a specific plan to target your issues, instead of just making assumptions and hoping you guessed right.
A DNA test can tell you a lot of interesting things. Certain genes are linked to an increased chance for a certain disease, a deficiency of particular enzyme or molecule, or impaired absorption of particular nutrients. Once this data is known, you can take specific measures to fix these issues by supplementation, nutrition, or other means.
If you want to have children, DNA tests can also detect potential hereditary diseases you might carry. Moreover, some DNA tests can detect the geographical origin of your ancestry, which can be interesting.
Blood Tests
For blood tests, I recommend the following companies. If you are not in the geographical location where these companies operate, you can still use their website as a reference for which bloodmarkers are interesting to test for at your local facilities.
DNA Tests
These are in my opinion the best companies to get a DNA test done. SelfDecode is more expensive, but offers a lot more insight when it comes to health. The tests for 23andMe are more affordable, offer some important basic insights, and also show a detailed insight into your genetic ancestry. Both services allow you to download your full genome in an electronic file, which can be uploaded to other services with more analytics later on if that is your desire.
- SelfDecode
- 23andMe (includes Ancestry)
Male Fertility
Having your seed tested as a man seems an unpleasant experience. However, if you want to have a child, or you’re having trouble making your wife pregnant, it is wise to get it done. Moreover, your seed quality is likely also an important indicator of your health overall. This company allows at-home sperm collection, which is far more comfortable than having to “produce” it at some facility.
